A fantastic sum of over £4,000 (including Gift Aid) was raised for BPT at the annual garden party held at Clevedon Court on Saturday 3rd May 2014.
Clevedon Court, now a National Trust property, is one of the most interesting historic houses in England with its medieval Great Hall, Library, Museum of Elton glassware and beautiful terraced gardens.
The House has been the ancestral home of the famous Elton Family for 300 years, and Julia Elton DL very generously opened the doors of her wonderful family home for guests, giving them the chance to take an exclusive tour of the historic house and gardens
Thanks to perfect weather on the day, guests were able to enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea on the terrace accompanied by a jazz quartet.
There was also brief presentation about the Social, Medical and Training Centre in Bulgaria, and many guests took this opportunity to make a donation to the ongoing appeal.
Thank you to everyone who attended and particular thanks to Julia Elton for allowing us to use her wonderful family ancestral home!
