Since the Official Opening last autumn, seven conferences have taken place in the Centre, all successful, including the Council of the European Baptist Federation honoured by the President of Bulgaria. He welcomed guests and congratulated Sofia Baptist Church on its humanitarian initiative, acknowledging that all agencies need to work together to solve the intractable human, economic and political problems faced by Europe today…. and afterwards the President’s brother helped serve coffee !

The youth groups and literacy class youngsters celebrated Christmas with a concert, elderly and handicapped people enjoyed a party, and everyone shared in a carol service.  The numbers visiting the Centre are gradually increasing, encouraged by a warm, inclusive welcome.

The Centre is already very busy on Sundays and occupied on most days of the week, demonstrating the love of Jesus, redeeming the past and providing live-giving hope for the future.
